A modern villa with a pool, standing 900 meters through the rice paddies from Hub Hoi An's coworking space, in one of Vietnam's most livable towns. The coliving is the residential arm of the town's community hub, so the calendar comes ready made: 10 to 20 events per week, from workshops and masterminds to ice baths and member dinners.

Location: Hoi An's rice field edge, 5 minutes by bike from the old town, 45 minutes from Da Nang airport, with pickup included.

A 7-room jungle-side villa in Hiriketiya, the horseshoe surf bay on Sri Lanka's south coast, run by the operator behind coliving houses in Madeira, Tarifa and a dozen other places. The upper floor workspace runs on fiber with backup power, every room has its own desk, and a community manager lives on site.

Location: Hiriketiya, a 10-minute walk from the beach, 3.5 to 4 hours from Colombo airport by taxi or a scenic train ride.

Community: Weekly cooking classes with a shared lunch, skill shares and surf mornings. Around 80 percent of guests travel solo. Season peaks December to April, quieter and cheaper June to October.

🇮🇳 Jungli, the nomad village in Dandeli, India

The most unusual entry on this list: an application only nomad village on 150 acres of family owned jungle in Dandeli, Karnataka, about 3 hours inland from Goa. Three coliving houses (Big, Soch and Serenne), villas and camping spots sit between jungle trails, rivers and actual wild deer, with 200+ Mbps wifi and power backup. In its first two years, Jungli hosted 650+ residents from more than 21 countries, a third of all nights booked by solo women travelers, and in June 2026 it hosted India's first digital nomad festival (the next edition comes June 2027).

Location: Dandeli, Karnataka, in the Western Ghats jungle. Fly to Goa, then drive about 3 hours (they arrange pickups).

Rooms are allocated by nationality to keep the 50/50 mix, and the Borderless Mates program runs hikes, day trips and language exchanges across the whole 168-room network.
